Jeff Russel's Starship Dimensions

Sucks to be a Firefox user.

Interesting. I don't see why we couldn't do a similar thing shmup related... Actually, shmups are fiction, so that site as well should consider to add R-9, Vic Vipers and such.

Oh, and I didn't get you about Firefox users... what does it mean?

If you use Internet Explorer you can move the ships around, with Firefox you can't.

Still, Firefox usually is so much better, I'd never go back to the old malware collecting security hazard that is IE.

Titanic Lance wins, the X-Multiply monster is actually supposed to be microscopic.

I think that might be a Tenchi Muyo reference, har har.

The more I see and hear about X-Multiply, the more I need to play it. If only the Saturn port wasn't so pricey.

It's playable in MAME if you want to give it a try before dropping a chunk of change on it.

What I'd like to see is a more-detailed larger rendering of the ships instead of their ripped pixel sprites.

It's from the Amiga version of Katakis (a.k.a. Denaris). Until now, that I saw that picture, I never realized it was THAT blatant a rip-off :D And that antenna.. what were they thinking? I mean, did they put it there because they were worried someone would notice they've "slightly" borrowed R-Type graphics? Does not compute. The same folks went on to create the Turrican series though, so maybe I'll forgive them.
