Trouble Witches AC vs. Trouble Witches Origin
Trouble Witches AC vs. Trouble Witches Origin
Got another chance to visit the Facebook MPK arcade (still an impressive selection of shmups, this time they had Dodonpachi and ESP Ra De running) and got to play a few rounds of Trouble Witches AC on one of their cabs. I didn't quite know what I was doing since the game text was all in Japanese and I'm not familiar with the game, but I see that there's a version available on Steam as Trouble Witches Origin. How do the two versions compare to each other? It's cheap enough that it's likely worth picking up, but I would assume this version has English translations in it, correct?

Re: Trouble Witches AC vs. Trouble Witches Origin
The Steam version actually has Trouble Witches AC as an included mode, so if you enjoyed that it's in there. Aside from that there's Arcade and Story modes (IIRC the same except for how much dialogue there is, someone correct me if I'm wrong) and Challenge mode (honestly forget what the heck that is
). Some characters are only available as paid DLC (and fewer are available by default than were offered in the bygone 360 digital version), but overall if you like how Trouble Witches plays the package is fine.
And yeah, it's in English...or should I say, "English".
