MVS trace too corroded?

Post by shmupsrocks »

Is this MVS-1F trace too corroded to rely on if I replace the battery? What will I lose if that trace fails?

Any idea what a broken trace there would mean for functionality?

Looks like it’s just the battery circuit, so probably just the battery backup.

In any case I’d remove the old battery ASAP before it does any more damage. Mobo will still function
