/me buys Spec a taco. A steak taco.

I turn 30 on thanksgiving this year.

It's just a number. I'm more active now than I was back in high school. =)

Didn't realize that we all were around the same age  I'll turn 30 this August as well.
Well, maybe that's because we were young (but able) when the first serious shmups came to the market and could play enough with the dinosaurs of shmups (r-type, gyruss, or the first home computer shmups) and we fell in love with this genre as time progressed. I don't think the newer generations could fall in love with shmups starting from, heck, under defeat and going onwards :D

Anyway, I have to admit I am losing a bit that hyperactive will to play every single game on the market, and I tend to fiddle with the internet more than my consoles. This said, I think I'll have a good game of Ikaruga even in 30 years, if my eyes don't fail me before... but then again, in 30 years Sony will produce an optical-nerve surgical console you can control with your brain impulses and cool down panting really fast ;)
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

Hey Rob, I know a book that might be right up your alley (assuming you haven't read it already):

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/086571 ... e&n=283155

I think you'll find it very informative, or at least confirmative. :D

Yeah, I haven't read that but could probably guess what's inside. I'm hoping for a miracle of some sort, or an easement into a generally simpler lifestyle. Not for me so much as my parents (just as they're nearing retirement age) or people with kids (because it makes my heart sad).
