X-Arcade sliding on the table, tips needed
I know many people here have the X-Arcade controller. How do you cope with the fact that it keeps sliding on surfaces, like tables, especially in two player games? It has these stupid slippery plastic rings in the bottom. Has anyone come up with a neat way to attach it better, to give it better friction? Maybe glueing some rubber plates on its bottom would work?

Materials
12x12 inch piece of plywood
rubber feet off your couch
1 tube of superglue.
Step 1: Clean your piece of plywood.
step 2: Using the superglue place 4 dots in the corners on the plywood sheet.
step 3: Firmly press the rubber pads from the couch onto the plywood sheet over the glue dots.
Paint with floral designs and bumble bees.

Yeah there was a secret subtext here, saying that it suxors that someone claims to make a perfect arcade controller, but in reality you need superglue, pieces of two-by-four, bubblegum and whatnot just to keep the friggin dang blasted thing still while playing. Luckily this is easier to solve than issues like the joystick sticking in some direction because some USB/PS problem.
Anyways, since I'm no friction expert or anything I had hoped that someone here would have a nice, ready solution for this. How many and what kind of rubber feet/pads would give the most luxurious unmovability? Those heinous plastic rings in the bottom are quite high and therefore the rubber feet/pads would have to be higher.
I've actually seen people try to solve this by two adjustable clamps.. damn ugly sight, and doesn't even work because the thing is slanted.

Holy crud! Not one helpful answer!
Go to your favorite hardware store - any one. Ask a helpful clerk for rubberized mats. Slap said mat on top of table and it will not slide. The stick will still lift, but will not slide.
The mat should look like a rubber foam mesh.
It should also protect any surface you put it on.
I love joysticks. I built a simple arcade stand to place sticks on. The stand has 2 strips of velcro for each stick and then each stick I have has the other surface of velcro for complete switchabilty of stick. They don't lift or move once settled.

It actually doesn't, although my legs ache a bit sometimes.
