Ok this is the perfect time to buy a 360 if you havent goten one yet. Not only are Japanese Premium's are cheaper than the US Premium's, the jap premium plays asian version of games that are at most 40 bucks brand new!Some asian version games are region free so you can play it on your american 360 if you ever wished to. All the asian version games are completely in English. No longer will you have to worry about MS bringing such import exclusives to the USA(Senko Ronde!). You can go on XBL with asian/japanese version of 360 games with no problem at all.Also the Japanese premium comes with XBOX Live Gold Membership..50 dollar value..ok that'll be enough :D

Thanks for the topic. But how can one get a Premium Pack for that price without having to go to Japan?

ebay! ive seen go one go as cheap as $300

Most likely no.
I had a friend who imported a Mega CD from Japan back in the day. The drive needed to be serviced for some reason and I remember Sega of Japan refusing to service it.
