hey guys
was out looking at a few cabinets today and came accross an original Neo Geo cabinet
comes with 4 slot mobo, perfect bright screen, 4 games (dont know which ones yet)
It isnt like the uprights i see around here, its a low boy, but great condition
its the same cabinet as this:

he is asking around 400US
what you guys think? :S
price check this cabinet for me :)
Sounds like a good deal. You'll want to check out the condition of the sticks and buttons as well. And of course the games are important. Overall though, not bad.. not low, not high.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
I'd say that's probably about right for a 4-slot MVS. Again, make sure the controls are in good shape before you buy (although if they need some work, I wouldn't call it a deal breaker though, since replacement parts are readily available. On the other hand, if there are problems, it could be something as simple as replacing a switch. Try to get the seller to take care of that stuff before you buy...
ok thanks alot for the fast replies guys!
im located near sydney in australia
for Australia, it seems quite cheap.. its hard to find decent priced cabinets here because we are so far away from everything.. makes freight so expensive
i powered up the machine and it came up dodgy, hes going to get the 4 slot completely repaired for me, looking at it physically it is quite clean..
he said it was just the boot rom or something
the monitor was bright with no burn in, the cabinet was clean with no scratches or anything.. buttons need a bit of a clean, joysticks a bit stiff from not being used.. but other then that, great condition.
that 400US was his first offer, so im going to try for around 350, again like you guys say.. the games are important in the cost too!
he also has a 20" in the same condition, i might try and pick it up cheap off him
