New PSP Capcom Collection!

Post by OneEyedJack »

http://www.gamespot.com/news/6147340.html

From the article:
" Reloaded will include a number of hits conspicuous by their absence in Remixed, like Street Fighter II, Commando, and Ghouls 'n' Ghosts. But as with Remixed and the console editions of Capcom Classics Collection, there will be a selection of more obscure titles, such as the globally conscious side-scrolling shooter Eco Fighters, as well as the side-scrolling beat-'em-ups Knights of the Round and King of Dragons."

Discuss! Celebrate! Denounce as double dipping! :)

Better yet, give us Progear and 1941 Counter-Attack on a more popular system! :)

Bring on the beat 'em ups. It's too bad the best ones are all licensed, though.

Knights of the Round was awesome. But not quite as awesome as Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara/Tower of Doom.
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

Why can't they release the GOOD versions on a console? It's great that they're on the PSP, but... :(

WOW, that is impressive! I think PSP's are down to $199, too! I don't know, though...the analog stick broke after I traded my last one in. But , game-wise, this system is looking more and more attractive all the time.

www.gamevideos.com has a video of the first stage of Eco Fighters up:

Looks pretty sweet! The pod thing in front of your ship, as well as some of the weapons, remind me of Last Resort.

impossible. why would a capcom collection include a cave game?

"hey dude's look what another company did with our hardware platform! we're totally going to take credit for it!"

Chariots, Roosters, Push Pull

Post by Koa Zo »

I read elsewhere that Wonder 3 is on this collection.
So at least there is some decent shooter action.
And more people will have a chance to play those really cool games!

3 Wonders is already on the 'Remixed" collection.

BTW,I'm pretty sure Capcom has got the rights to Pro-Gear.

For the good Professor Ganson and anyone else sitting on the fence, Capcom Classics PSP is currently available at Best Buy for just $19.99:

edit: Make sure you print out the ad below before you enter the store:

http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_U...PSPgame1999.pdf

Also for the same price you can get either MM Powered Up or MM Maverick Hunter X. I own all three and would highly recommended any of them (especially CCC and Powered Up).

The link I posted above is broken, here is a working link which has the 19.99 coupon listed on it, click on the relevant coupon and then print it out. Thanks to Ganson:
