Does OSSC work with Samsung LN40B650?

Does anyone know how well the OSSC works with the Samsung LN40B650 LCD? Is 3x line doubling supported on this TV? Can I adjust the horizontal and vertical active areas of the picture through the OSSC on this TV? I have read that even if the OSSC has compatibility issues with my TV, that I can adjust the timings in the settings until it works. Is this true?
