I made this using only consumer-grade equipment. Those of you not familiar with Minidisc may not see what's the ad about, but just imagine you are seeing this on Spike TV or something like that. The premise was to do a video as profesionally as possible, with the simplest footage and low-quality tools. Yeah, it's long. Yeah, I got the music from JSR. Just give me your opinion. I can't wait to start college next year. I used my Olympus CrappyCam for the video, and the Minidisc for audio capture. Also Studio 8 for the encoding and editing, which is bragable.
Just tell me what you think about it. (Yeah, the captions are cheesy, but I can always change them.) Please please please?
And no, there are no monsters or zombie props jumping at you and screaming. Please. Just download it and watch it. It's Mpeg, 10 MB.
Thanks.

Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.
Damn, I was hoping to see some hot Spec action, in motion!
The "Your moves" part was a bit dark and I couldn't really tell what was happening.
I don't know how limited your "air time" is, but consider leaving each of the screens at the end just a tiny bit longer. You can afford to compensate by making each of the footage sections just a tiny bit shorter.
You might want to find some way to centralise the product you are advertising, as often the MD is at the bottom of the screen, i.e. in the periphery and it doesn't feel like it's the focus of the ad.
Anyway that's just what I think as Joe Regular who doesn't know much about the product..

Cool. The shot parts are quite cool. But I'd work more on the fonts on the black screen. I know you used the Spider-man font, which is sony related, but it still fails to impress... Perhaps you should make fonts bigger on screen and appearing faster.
Oh, and the final message (you already knew didn't you?) didn't sound right somewhat.
edit- I've been beaten in speed! Count me in Joe Regular's Army as well.

The music seems to be "out of sync" in one spot. You might try cutting the elevator scene by a split second or so to fix that (it seems like the shot stays about a half second longer than it should.) And the smaller text is hard to read in that font, and I had to rewind a couple of times to figure out what it said. Consider a more neutral font (or at least color) for that text.
