are there any? im not a fan of cosplaying, but i guess it wouldnt hurt to see if people (esp. in Japan) dress up as thier favorite Ibara bosses or as a Lord British :P...

are there any?

There was a time... when Zweihander wanted to cosplay as a humanoid version of the Endymion Mk.II...

However, the Zwei still wants to cosplay as the pilot, in full armor...

No you listen to meee I'mmm the Cosbyh. They could have people dressed as multi colored jello cups and such.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
