I have great appreciation for the pixel artists of the early 1990's and this will be a tribute to their limits. I feel to fully appreciate out power with gm I need to try making games with some limits of the old 1990's games.

I am using the resolution and screen size as well as the nes color palette. (That was hard to find)
hey pixel looking cool, obviously early days, but its cool to stick to a simple aesthetic, how did you do the bullet sprays, I guess its prity easy but id like to know how you approached it, I make some music with the nes hardware, id be happy to throw some tunes your way and or sound effects that use the nes's noise channel. just a few things id start thinking about:
joystick support
not letting the player ship move off the screen
so far i've only used the drag and drop moduals in game maker,
I gues I was planning to use time lines to impliment bullet patterns as part of the enemy movments ( I already have some enemy movment happening, mooving towards the player ship ect...)
I gues I should do some tutorials in scripting for game maker.
ill see how I go with my bullets and get back to you if I need some help
