where to buy those 2-pin captive screw connectors

Post by Fudoh »

that Extron uses for power on their newer "small" machines ?

I'm looking for the ones with a tail to allow the cable to be tied down on them. And ideally somewhere in Europe...

Do you just mean a 2 pin phoenix connector? All the extron stuff I've seen uses those for power or a standard D-plug

A while ago I bought 2 extron power supplies on ebay and they both came with those connectors on them already.

If you havent bought a power supply yet its an option.

I see lots of sellers have the 2 pin phoenix connectors but they dont have the tail for securing the wires.

yes, I know that these are the same as phoenix connectors, but I can't find the 2-pins versions with a tail.

I have plenty of matching power supplies, but I'm sick of having to check the screws every once in a while.

You mean like the left one here, or like the right one (with two poles) or something different?

Like the orange or blue ones on top:

The tail is used for cable tie like this: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/8BcAAOSw ... -l1600.jpg

Yeah I guess that can be a "problem". All Phoenix Contact pages, except US one, lists them as currently unavailable, or "Available on request" (which usually is Phoenix's way of saying "It's gonna take forever to get"). If you're having a hard time with it, gimme a holler, and I can try to talk to Phoenix directly.
