From what I've gathered I may just be SOL on this but I've recently put the NESRGB mod in my AV Famicom and it works great. Except to my LG OLED via OSSC. I can only get it to show a picture on line4x and even then it drops probably every 5-10 seconds. Outputs to my PVM fine though. I'm guessing the OLED just can't pull it in properly but thought I'd ask if anyone had any tips before I gave up.
I have the NESRGB wired for CSYNC to the correct pin on the multi-out. Also removed the 3 caps on the NESRGB as I watched Voultar's video for tips on how to install this. Using this as my SCART Cable - https://retro-access.com/collections/su ... nded-cable
Tried connecting it to PPUV and that gave me no picture and not a good one on my PVM either. Not sure if there's really anything else I can try?

Re: NESRGB + OSSC Sync Issues
The NES and SNES are known to have a jittery sync signal, which may be what's causing your sync dropouts. I'm not sure if you need the dejitter mod in addition to your NESRGB, or if the NESRGB can work around the jitter with a firmware update.
Re: NESRGB + OSSC Sync Issues
Hm, the 6 and 7 series are usually reported as NES/SNES-OSSC compatible:

Re: NESRGB + OSSC Sync Issues
So I finally figured this out... it was the HDMI cable the OSSC was using was going bad apparently. Doh! Odd that it only effected SNES and NES but I guess the OLED was just sensitive enough to those as the cable was going out. At least I did learn a hell of a lot about CSYNC as I thought it was that and realized two of my cables had resistors that needed to be removed since the RGB mods I did output 75ohm. So it wasn't all wasted time.
Re: NESRGB + OSSC Sync Issues
Actually no it's something my receiver has decided to start doing. I went and bought a new HDMI cable and same problem if it runs to my receiver. Going to dig through the menus and see if I can figure out what it's doing to the signal.
Re: NESRGB + OSSC Sync Issues
Hubz, thank you for sharing your findings.
Mine was ok in pvm but with some flickering using ossc. When I bypassed my receiver, it worked fine.
My receiver is a Onkyo. Have you find a way to use the ossc with the Receiver AND the NES?
Thanks again
