Scrub question, if I get my N64 RGB modded with Tim Worthington's latest board can it still output composite/S-video for if I take the console to a friends house?

That's not a big deal. You simply don't have to cut/disconnect the composite video and/or the s-video line from the MultiOut. If you then sync on CV or Luma the image will be slightly shifted. However, a good opportunity is to connect sync from the modding board to pin 3 of the MultiOut and use a RGB cable with CSYNC connection.
