Oriental Legend 2 - Shmup Level?

During the attract mode of Oriental Legend 2 there seems to be a shmup level or mini game available, but on playing through the game in full a few times, I'm yet to find it. Does anyone know how to access it or where it is?

I only own the first Oriental Legend but i've never heard about such thing. Just watched the attract mode on youtube but couldn't find anything shmup related.
