Odds of Senko no Ronde Rev. X for 360 coming stateside?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I have a bad feeling that it actually won't ever happen. Maybe if Micro$oft is desparate for titles?

I have a hunch it will. Microsoft has done cool stuff like this in the past. Metal Slug 3

Very true, but unlike Senko no Ronde, Metal Slug 3 actually was and still is in most the remaining American arcades. A unique Japanese-only arcade release seems a littler harder to market.

At least Senko has one thing going for it: 3d. I think this makes a BIG difference when it comes to deciding these things.

Senko No Ronde has been released in some US arcades. I know for a while, the guys over at SRK were tracking where it was available.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be released here.

Microsoft released Metal Slug 3?

Wow, did not know that. However, they also left both Magatama and Phantom Dust (which were first party games) unreleased.

It could swing either way, I guess.

maybe majesco will be able to afford to come to the rescue like they have so often in the past (psychonauts, phantom dust, infected)...

Normally I'd say no, but so many shmups have been coming over here in the past few years I'd say it's definitely possible.

I think with the recent Sony announcement

MS will have to follow suit

The big difference is that this game is no mere shooter. But I still don't see the interest. Mecha games already bomb horribly in the US.

This one just might make it. Microsoft probably would not try to stop it from coming out here, as Sony probably would.

I think with the Xbox Shikigami titles the issue was simply one of nobody bothering with them for some lame reason.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

SNK ports for US are almost always XBOX because of SCEA's retarded policy with oldschool gameplay, in comparison to Microsoft, who doesn't seem to care except in case of bugs. In EU/JP they're all PS2.

It is region free but the dev has to unlock the disc. MS has left it up to the third parties.

Exactly. So it's a case if an outside publisher will bring the game to the US. I'm pretty sure Microsoft won't release it on their own, however, I'm sure they will clear the release if some other company wants to bring it over.
