turbografx issues

I have a turbografx that has an issue i havent seen yet. It has an almost black screen, but I can see a slight outline of all the sprites.

it seems to play fine, like the console is processing the game and running it, and i get sound but the video just isnt showing up that good, even with a composite video cable.

Bad video ground I'd say.
