Money is really tight for me right now which I guess works out because I'd like to give LRG more time to maybe officially announce the NA release before I jump on the Korean physical copy. If I don't here anything from LRG by February then the Korean version it is.

Would like to know if in-game menus are English, Korean or Japanese. I'm guessing the packaging itself (down to the soundtrack?) is fully Korean.

It’s a mix of Korean and English. Easy enough to make your way through it.

Having struggled to get into Garegga in years past, this port has really ignited my love for this game.

I still suck at it but at least I'm enjoying it!

With the achievements/trophies can anyone give me a little direction on how to unlock:

CRUSH NOSE: Destroy the propeller on Nose Laughin

EXPENSIVE DEBRIS 2: Destroy the fragment of Glow Squid using a special weapon

PROCURE WEAPONS: Acquire 4 large special weapons within 10 seconds

SECRET POWER: Use player 1 to achieve the special power up by using shot power

Destroy the front propeller on the stage 1 boss. Putting your options into Trace formation (the one where they point in the opposite direction of your movement) and attacking it from the side is the usual way to do this.

Bomb the round hatch in stage 7 when it opens and releases a bunch of shrapnel.

In stage 4 where there are the 4 big tanks, destroy each tank by fully destroying the treads before the main body so that they drop a large bomb item. Pick up all 4 bomb items.

SECRET POWER: Use player 1 to achieve the special power up by using shot power

At max shot power, pick up a small shot powerup, then let the next 5 fall off the screen, then pick up the 6th one. This will upgrade your shot to the secret "special" power level.

Aren't there just a number of settings to figure and we're done?

Later we could make a thread for translating all the necessary stuff, having a printed translated note in the box should be enough for anyone.

iiirc, there's already a full translation of the menus somewhere in this thread. From the JP version though.

There's an art gallery in-game, but I can't recall if those particular pictures are in it. Those are probably also in the Bluescape book that came with the premium edition, if nothing else.

I have a Korean kit and now a Korean disk. I guess the circle is complete.

I really can't believe nobody has pushed out an English version of the game on physical media.

I can picture that korean PS4 release stay the only localized and physical one for a long time.

Because it feels odd, I mean they must have had a reason to publish it in that form only there.
