That's a damn fine band

I'm in a metal phase right now and listen almost exclusively to that, but I've listened to BTS a bunch back then. My fave record is Keep it like a Secret. That one is a thing of beauty, even though it's more on the polished side production-wise

FinalBaton, yes they are great. Got this record years ago from a good gf.
At home i normaly listen only to classic on the radio. In the car mixture, but mostly jazz.

For metal i like mostly doom. Pentagram-relentless is maybe my favorite.

This is different. Sounds like they wanted to do a JRPG-inspired symphonic suite, and ended up doing a jazz suite instead. Turned out to be very good listening.

I haven't really been digging them for years... decades, maybe? That's a serious crime. The "late" era experimental stuff was so ahead of its time I have no words for how influential they have been.

They're fucking incredible. Like you I've never really paid attention to them. But last year, a friend of mine who has lots of similar tastes in music as me, told me that I absolutely needed to check this show of theirs. I 100% trust her music recomendations, so I gave it a shot. And I was blown away.

Since then I watch Talk Talk's Live at Montreux every now and then.

It's very close to being just as excellent as their first record(which is a masterpiece), so quite the feat.
What I like about these guys is that their sound is relatively crass, and the moods they explore are both gripping with intensity and shrouded in mystery. Grim and frostbitten. This is right up my alley. kvlt as fucking fuck, my friends
