Are the professional crt Panasonic monitors any good?

I found one for sale a Panasonic BT-H1490Y Professional Broadcast Video Monitor and I know they would't be as sharp as a sony pvm, but would they still look good through rgb and would they be better compared to a comsumer crt? I would be using my ps1 and snes.

That has 150 more TV Lines (750 I believe if it's the EU's version of the 1390) than a comparable Sony 600 TVL model...the 20" version of that looked great to me. JVC makes them (or made the 20" version at least)

Interesting, specs sound good, but i can't find any video on this specific monitor. Anyone else had any experience with the panaosic pro monitors like the model above?

Their pictures are totally fine. Sony just had a bit of a strangle hold on the pro av field in late 80s/early 90s, less so in medical...plenty of quality options by mid/later 90s and early 2000. As long as you can get into service/geometry adjust mode on whatever specific model you go for (sure they must have it accessible) you'll be happy.

Personally I'd only bother crt-ing at 20+, but if you're into reproducing some back-in-the-day console nostalgia and you've got a line on these in decent nick at a low price it'll be difficult to imagine you being disappointed - good luck.
