I ended up getting Sonic Mania on PS4 because the PC version has Denuvo. It's definitely great to see classic 2D Sonic back in top form.

I don't trust pre-release graphic showcases and there's no gameplay... so I'm unimpressed, but I really like Sony's focus on new IPs and even "allowing" studios with sort of well established brands (Killzone, Infamous) to make something new.

I went and got the Shadow of the Colossus remake, due to DigitalFoundry ejaculating to it.

I think the two versions can co-exist, as the original has a more "dreamy" look to it. This seems more realistic, with more detail in the environments (and characters and monsters). That being said, it is drop dead gorgeous. I'm playing it on a Pro, so it's in 60fps, and I'm just like....wow.

Wander's face is questionable, but they really went all out on this. And they kept the original's vibe a good bit. Like I said though, both can co-exist without making the other obsolete.
But if you want a PS4 graphical showcase, this is it.
