I'm looking for TV stand with good vertical height, that can house a good number of consoles. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Build your own? Google "threaded rod shelves". Cheap, easy to build, super customizable.

Don't have any specific recommendations but don't go too high or you'll end up in neck pain country. Wide and low might be better if you space allows for it.

I use one of those IKEA Kallax/Expedit units (2x4) on it's side with wheels for my retro stuff and impossible to get comfortable when playing. Sitting down, it's too high up and standing is a bit low. Maybe if I had like bar stool or something. Or removed the wheels.
