What years would you erase off the calendar?

Honestly, I wish we could forget 2005, 2013, and 2016 ever happened. Because those three were the worst. The unholy trilogy of terror.

Having watched Heathers last night, I can say there were a handful of years after 1983 that were okay. I probably learned how to jack off properly around 87, so yeah... I'm gonna say 1990-1998.

2008: UK has been f^&@#'d since. If I relied on the british pound I'd also want not to be awake kind of now until it surpasses the Euro. It's close to parity. But since I have Euros and Pounds it doesn't matter much to me but it makes it harder for the Brits in general. I'd have that tit with the hairdo over in the US who's your mascot removed and let's just hope that they get someone decent in next time. Apart from that it's all pretty much the same really.

At the moment I'd prefer to erase the upper 90% of my head with both barrels tbh.

If you have several shitty YEARS in your life maybe you should concider changing your lifestyle.

Shit happens thats completely out of your control sometimes, but in our society people are mostly in control of their own fate.

It's all kind of relative I tend to find. But yes, things outside of our control such as the economy kind of have all sorts of ramifications.

It's the end of the month and still no "FUCK YOU IT'S JANUARY!" video in sight.

It's a bad start, man.

None. What doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, and we survived the Bush years. Let that sink in for a moment. 8)

2017
I regressed financially and professionally to about where I was in 2004, cut ties with the last of my local "friends", split up with hell-spawn girlfriend, my collector's item car got totaled by some kid doing over 100 mph in a snowstorm, persistent lower back pain everyday, bad root canal left me needing oral surgery ($8000 on the credit card), two bad fillings left me needing root canals ($4000-5000 yet to be paid for), pinched nerve is causing daily pain and weakness in my right arm and hand. Getting old, but also beat up professionally and socially.

I can't say or recall that any other year of my life has been so negative and difficult.

Thanks. I've always kept a similar outlook as you and Specineff, and still mostly do feel that it is all part of the ride and that I'll look forward to what's around the corner. However, having my career derailed and stumbling back into the job market in my mid-40's is challenging. Reinventing myself at this point in my life wasn't quite expected. And now I have the worry of becoming half lame, no one will hire a guy with a bad back, and a limp arm!

Damn! parallel universe me?
I was once beat down by the police after helping a friend get to the hospital. My friend got hit with a brick to the side of the head, he had no insurance and already had medical bills (after he was hit on his bike by an off duty cop coming out of an alley the wrong way with no headlights on).. so anyhow this friend is bleeding profusely and won't get in the ambulance, a cop comes up and starts yelling at us that he has to go to the hospital. I'm like right that's what I'm trying to do. That cop lightens up and we get my friend in the ambulance.
In the intervening time the police had cleared out the parking lot and my car is the only one there with a cop standing right at it. As I approach he's yelling at me "Is this your car, What are you still doing here?!"
As I start to explain "I just got my friend in that ambulance.." the cop cuts me off, classic cop style "I don't want to hear your stories!!" (but you just asked!) ... I have my friend's bike and it won't fit in the back on my car, I have to take a wheel off, now there are three cops, they flip out that I'm taking the wheel off the bike, voices raise, I get OC sprayed, cuffed, batons up under my ribs to knock the wind out of me and drop me to my knees, drug across the parking lot on my knees, as I'm fighting to get up more blows from the batons. They then had me against the side of a paddy-wagon van with 8 cops all taking turns beating on me trying to break my ribs. They then took me to the hospital. Then jail, then let me out at 4am with no shoelaces, phone nor keys.
