Holy god damn. I haven't even seen Stage 6 in months and then this happens. First death on Stage 7 boss, second death on last boss. Went into last boss with 4 bombs, so I basically just cheesed him out.

I'm still in awe that this happened, I have no idea what made everything fall into place like that.

Skin-of-my-teeth clear, no bombs or lives left. Thought I was done for after the death on the seventh boss, and was almost sure after the second death on the final boss (thought I had one bomb left!), but managed to persevere. Satisfied that I conditioned myself to bomb a lot, I admittedly was a bit too successful at that, looking at my bomb usage in stage 7.

What does the announcer say when you use a bomb as P2? Sort of sounds like "Bomb's favour", but I can't make out the second word. I'm also not sure what he proclaims after you lose a life and get respawned. I have to know!

Nicely done! Stage 7 is a beautifully intense nightmare, making it through that at all is a job well done.
