@Gingerzilla

Re the Sega HS-0131, as a matter of interest, how much did you pay for this in Aki?

(I have a feeling selling mine on here for £80 IIRC may have been somewhat hasty...)

:cry:

To be honest though, at the time the hardwired shitty stock buttons pissed me right off - but I really wouldn't mind picking another one of these up again at some point. Just wanna ballpark figure of what the going rate is. Thanx.

Nope, I was trying to print a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure art for it but my printer was out of ink. So I drew random shapes and smileys and wrote stupid stuff on a paper.
It says "Weiners are pretty ok" in finnish.

hori gem pad mostly for 360 and PC stuff. Dreamcast pad for Dreamcast stuff. Keyboards feel terrible to me, but I used to play rRootage with a keyboard, but it was the only game that felt okay on a keyboard, for some reason.
EDIT: For a while I was using a JP Saturn pad with total control adapter for dreamcast, and that pad is the best, but alas, there's a tiny bit of extra lag introduced, and the DC pad is not bad, anyway.

Wired XBox One pad. The d-pad is substantially improved over the 360 version. I still think the Logitech controllers have the best d-pads (well not counting Saturn), but the build quality of those are garbage. XB1 is much more sturdy (fucking better be for the amount they charge for them).

Or are you just plain old-school and use an arcade stick? Oh, and if you use a gamepad controller, do you prefer to use a directional pad or a thumbstick to move around?
I use a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 with all Sanwa parts.

The Arcade Stick I use

Post by YoniArousement »

I use the Qanba Carbon, which has table clamps that can be attached to your desk. It lets me get SPD's off in SFII sometimes (easier to do it facing right), and seems good for maneuvering in shmups.

The autofire holds buttons for 3-4 frames, and releases buttons for 3-4 frames, however. So, basically the turbo interval is really 6-8 frames between button presses, usually 7 frames. I tested this stick's autofire by recording an input file using the SNES/SFC version of a Puyo Puyo game (all of which have an input test in the options menu).
