Has anyone here used swiss with a modded component/scart cable on a US system?
I cannot get the picture to sync (constantly rolling). If I set sync to internal on my BVM, it will stop rolling, but 1/3 of the top screen is morphed screwed up (similar to a PCE system if you don't enable VCR mode).

Re: Gamecube with Swiss - using modded component/scart cable
Are you referring to a GameCube component cable that's been modified to have a SCART head on the end, or are you talking about the component and SCART cables individually?
The reason you need to set Internal Sync is because Component (YPbPr), like RGsB, does not have a dedicated sync line; sync is muxed on Y (green).

If I play a normal Japanese or US game disc (non swiss), then everything works perfectly, even through gscart and OSSC.
As soon as the swiss disc loads, there is no sync.

480p is used by default. Hold L to use 480i, or change the Swiss Video Mode setting.

Thanks Extrems, I'll give this a try. So hold L just before the GC animated startup logo disappears?Extrems wrote:480p is used by default. Hold L to use 480i, or change the Swiss Video Mode setting.
