I would think the only gain you get is that you won't have to rerun the cable when you upgrade to a console that actually requires HDMI 2.0/2.1.

Its the same 20 wire cable dude.

You can not get 10K on an HDMI 2.1 device using a 2.0 HDMI cable.Syntax wrote:Its the same 20 wire cable dude.
HDMI 2.1 are Ultra High Speed, while HDMI 2.0 are High Speed.

Considering the number of cables that can't even do 18Gbps content when they advertise they can, you're going to need better cables if you want to push 4K@120Hz or 8K+Syntax wrote:Its the same 20 wire cable dude.

PS1 Disc-Based Game ID BIOS patch for MemCard Pro and SD2PSX automatic VMC switching.

Too bad these are still 2.0 and still won't get anywhere close to 48Gbps like 2.1 cables do (remember 2.0 cables were "only" 18Gbps), the only available 2.1 HDMI cable for now is this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075N83B9X/GeneraLight wrote:Like these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Audioquest-HDM ... 1779385829bobrocks95 wrote:Considering the number of cables that can't even do 18Gbps content when they advertise they can, you're going to need better cables if you want to push 4K@120Hz or 8K+Syntax wrote:Its the same 20 wire cable dude.
