Service manual for DT-V1710CG; DT/BT pure flat series?

Post by SpiderWaffle »

Specifically the service menu index; looking for the service/maintenance manual (not instruction/user) for on of these monitors or in series or similar, like the DT-V1910CG, or Panasonic BT-H1700, or w/e the Ikegami series was called.

The closest I've found is the BT-M1950Y, but the service menu is different with a lot less less options:

There's a few sketchy sites with paywalls and prescriptions required that appear to have it hosted.

I also have the BT-M1950Y, it a decent monitor but is quite different. While decent for a PVM the input makes all the difference on that model, there is a quite noticable difference in in component vs RGB in colorspace. I sent you a message on facebook with a link for the service manual for the monitor and component plugin card.

Thanks so much guys, this one was really hard to find.

Just curious what you use to output to yours, not much will output ext sync at 1.0-4.0 vpp at 75ohms besides certain Extron devices, strange they designed the RGB cards to only accept that high of sync at 75ohms, and not TTL. The only way I could get anything working for me was with an extron RGB 468xi

The RGB input card accepts most sync types and levels. Just remember to switch from external to internal sync if you're using RGsB or Component.

So I've run across one of these (with an RGB card) and I'd actually like to ask how most people set this up. The RGB card has 5 BNC inputs: 3 for RGB and two for H and V sync.
However most (all?) SCART/RGB21 to BNC cables are BNC x 4, RGB and s (cSync). Do you just attach the cSync BNC plug to the DT-V's H or V and it's detected and used?

I've also seen discussions of the SyncStrike or Extron (SCART -> DB15(RGBs) -> Extron -> BNC x 5?), but I'm not sure how everyone is dealing with the sync bits in the setup.
Please enlighten me :)
