Best multi-retro console stick? (PCE/MD/SFC)

Post by DejahThoris »

I know the Hori Fighting Multi Stick exists. I've heard it has funky spongy buttons but otherwise is very good. They're somewhat pricey, but if I found one with all three cables, I might go for it.

But aside from that, I assume my options are limited to something custom? If I built another custom stick (I have one for 360/X1/PS3/4/PC), what's the go-to PCB for PCE/MD/SFC? Or is there even one that covers all three systems?

THE BATTLE STATION II

Aussie made greatness. Big steel case, strong sticks, easily upgradable and covers pretty much all retro systems.

Custom solution is a toodles board. The advantage is you can have toodles plugged into 4 consoles at once!

No. They are Aussie MCA sticks. Strong as fk.
Unfortunately the DB25 control pin out isn't connected to anything on the pcb, so you cant make a custom common ground breakout for say a PS360+ or Brooks adapter to use it on the newer consoles.

While the MC Cthulhu is the best option for multiple systems, it has some issues with some games on the the PC Engine, where the input signals just go off on their own, and it doesn't support genesis. D:
