Help with PC to crt by s-video.
I have a 14'' pvm with s-video output that I'm using for my plays, as I've already mentioned on other threads. The crt is connected to the PC by the s-video output that comes with my gs8400, without any adaptor. It's functional, but may cause some issues and I cant get the refresh rate right for the games or even native resolution for the games. I believe that it might have a better way to make things work. Also got a AMD Radeon 6450 without s-video output that Im not currently using, if it can help with anything. I've tried to read manuals on the subject, but I found the text confusing and I really dont know where to begin with.

Thanks for that link buttersoft, it was nice to have a good complete writeup all in one page.
I found it very interesting because while I know the S-video output of a graphics card is not great, I didn't know why. That section of the guide explained it really well.
I used to plug S-video from a laptop to a Sony consumer Trinitron tv many years ago to play emulators on a standard def crt. I loved having all those console emulators an MAME running on a huge 36" Sony crt, to me it was awesome back then. Now there are better options of course.

Thank you for the answer, but not much hope for my case, it seems.
For a 14'', maybe it is not that bad.
