Wacken Open Air

Post by gbaplayer »

Has anybody been at the Wacken Open Air in Germany? How did you like it?
I was there first time in 2016 and it was so freakin´awesome (Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister, Blind Guardian and more). Will be there next year also.

The Lineup now already is beyond awesomeness:
Judas Priest, Amorphis, In Flames, Wintersun, Children of Bodom, Dirkschneider, Doro, Night Demon, RiotV, Running Wild...

Here you can check everyday for new bands:

It's very big and I know a few who go to it every year. For me personally it's a bit too big and I've never been interested in going to massive gigs or stadiums concerts or such but to each their own. Not sure how much it costs these days either. I hear that Summer Breeze is not very good as a side point and they are very restrictive about people taking in anything to eat or drink to basically force people to buy at the venue.
