Treasure is my favorite developer. Ever.
I think it's fair to suggest we witnessed their full potential with Sin and Punishment: Star Successor.
It's an amazing feat, if you think about it: A classic, 16-bit era, indie development studio ends up peaking 17 years into their life by joining production forces with Nintendo on the most casual console to ever to hit the market?
As far as I'm concerned that's a poetic end for the developers nearest and dearest to my heart.
Barring something insane (Platinum x Treasure x Yoko Taro x Iuchi join forces to produce a follow-up to Ikaruga)... I'm going to keep pretending Star Successor was their beautiful conclusion.

I think this is good news regardless whether they create another shmup or not. I've always enjoyed their games. Few real duds in my book, and their A-list titles are some of my favorites on their respective platforms.

At this rate, I won’t be interested into shmups anymore. I am no longer going to be active in this forum from now on. I am more interested into Kemono Friends, rhythm games, D4DJ, Puzzle Games, Hololive, and Pretty Cure.

Lord of Dungeon is being published in Japan by CAVE but it's not their game.

I'd love so much if they published the xbox 360 version of radiant silvergun to steam...
I know that Treasure has been around mostly doing licensed games and subcontracts for the past 10 years. But looking at the list of their games on their website, I was pretty surprised to notice that they only 2 released to games on arcades! And what magnificent beasts they are...

As a fan of Treasure , its annoying to think the last original game we got in the states was S&P 2 Star Successor. That was ages ago. As long its not a rework of one of their old games, then I'm happy. It would be kinda cool if they did another run and gun....
