I only have scart, I don't have RF. (unless there is another method i don't know of?) I also tested my 32x, and it sounds great too. I don't own a SEGA CD, so I can't test that, (plus I'm guessing I need something else to go with the 2.0 mini for SEGA CD audio output?)

Infidelity: thats what I said, about cutting the input traces on the headphone jack, and wiring the L/R output of your mega amp to it. then, your volume slider will work. Btw, you will need the ground, so dont disconnect it.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm a little hesitant with cutting at this time, as you mentioned previously.

Just out of curiousity, if you had to buy another Genesis, why did you buy another VA7? its the worst sounding Genesis.

The mega amp fixes most of the issues with it though.

But the fact that the Chip In a VA7 Generates some different sounding tones than the rest of the model 1s,

Means that it will never sound exactly like them, although the mega amp comes close.

Yeah, its just going to be full volume where you connected the wires.

You have to wire it through the volume slider, then your volume will be adjustable.

Look carefully again, at those pics i posted of where to connect your wires.

you also should probably cut the old traces going into the volume slider.
