OSSC Tv compatiblilty
I'm planning on ordering one of these units and am curious if anyone has had an issue with one of them not working at all with a specific TV. I have a cheap insignia NS‑50D510NA17 LED tv, and a Panasonic P42S30 plasma. Sorry if this has been asked before.

No idea about the Insignia (never heard that brand), but the Panasonic should work fine in Lx2 mode. Might do Lx3 with tweak to vertical active area. Check link in my sig.

Insignia is a cheap BestBuy store brand tv. I don't know who actually manufactures it,as I also have an Insignia CRT that's actually a Sylvania rebranded.

Re: OSSC Tv compatiblilty
Touched on this on the OSSC thread. Compatibility is assured to an extent, but with the dozens of options on it, straying from the default spec of the TV will likely at some point give a black screen. PC monitors give best results, LG OLED TV's for 2016 and 2017 give good returns also. I'm lucky enough to be in a position to buy my TV new so will do that in due course. At the moment I'm gunning for a 32" Dell 1440p monitor and the 2017 LG OLED at 55 or 65".
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
