of course not. Any framerate conversion is absolutely taboo when it comes to video games.

But why would you need to convert from one format to the other anyway? Assuming you want to stick with composite, most PAL TVs also support NTSC.

Almost any PAL TV from about 1990 or newer will support NTSC as well. Vice versa i'm not sure about.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It's only after the latter part of the 90s that NTSC support was becoming common.

It was typical from Philips sets made before 1997 not to support NTSC (60Hz yes, but no NTSC).
