Hello everyone.
I just got my hand on a French NES who was not turning on at all.
No obvious flaw on the power supply but I replaced it with another one I had left and now the console is working perfectly.
But I still want to troubleshoot the original power box.
I ve changed all the caps and the 7805.
So it’s time to test it.
But I’ve just realized I don’t know how to test a power supply without putting it back to a board.
What could I do to have an On state (equivalent of the NES power button switched on) so that I can test if the 7805 is now outputing 5v.
