Methinks it's worth noting that faith in itself does not have to be completely blind, without any backing whatsoever...in some cases, obviously, it is, but just because you have faith in something doesn't mean that you just pulled it completely out of thin air and have absolutely nothing "solid" to reinforce it with.

Where is the proof that god exists ?!?
I won't need a ticket but can just pick up the price.
Cause like you said, I had faith, why would I need proof ?
Be attitude for gains:

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.

Well ok, I gave a bad example, I admitBulletMagnet wrote:Methinks it's worth noting that faith in itself does not have to be completely blind, without any backing whatsoever...in some cases, obviously, it is, but just because you have faith in something doesn't mean that you just pulled it completely out of thin air and have absolutely nothing "solid" to reinforce it with.

But then again the example that was given to me was just as much rubbish.

There was no example given - that's why it's called 'faith' and not 'proof'.Michaelm wrote:Well ok, I gave a bad example, I admitBulletMagnet wrote:Methinks it's worth noting that faith in itself does not have to be completely blind, without any backing whatsoever...in some cases, obviously, it is, but just because you have faith in something doesn't mean that you just pulled it completely out of thin air and have absolutely nothing "solid" to reinforce it with.
