I just snagged one of these on eBay, but every console I've hooked up to it has this nauseating green tint to it. I've tried different consoles, different component cables, and even different AC adapters. I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Has anyone experienced this issue and been able to get it resolved?
Thanks!
Retrotek SCBV1P3 - Green Tint?
Re: Retrotek SCBV1P3 - Green Tint?
It's an issue with the power circuit; Some displays show it all the time, others only when testing with color bars (or certain parts of games). I thought this was fixed 6 months ago!?!?!? If not, I've gotta remove the links from my site.

I didn't buy mine directly from Fusionz (mistake on my end. being a cheap-skate never pays off), so it looks like I got an older revision that still has the issue.retrorgb wrote:It's an issue with the power circuit; Some displays show it all the time, others only when testing with color bars (or certain parts of games). I got in touch with Fusionz on eBay and he has offered to fix it for me if I send it in to him.
It might be a good idea to put something on your page about this issue and older revisions, because I was searching for hours last night for a definitive answer.

It was the first revision of maybe the first 1-2 months I started selling them on ebay.cooltrainer wrote:I didn't buy mine directly from Fusionz (mistake on my end. being a cheap-skate never pays off), so it looks like I got an older revision that still has the issue.retrorgb wrote:It's an issue with the power circuit; Some displays show it all the time, others only when testing with color bars (or certain parts of games). Has nothing to do with the power supply as Rob stated.

My RetroTek that recieved on Friday has an no issues and I've been using it quite a lot
Honestly with this transcoder it makes me wonder if I even need the OSSC at all. Then again I still need something for VGA...

I take the quality of my products very seriously and price them honestly (I don't make much money off them, more of a hobby for now).
