"It’s 1982 and a new home computer graces the scene. Out goes the silent black and white experience and in with 64KB of RAM, colour graphics, and synthesizer sound.

Roll forward 35 years and kick nostalgia into overdrive with the release of THEC64 MINI. A tiny but perfectly formed 50% scale replica of this much loved machine.

Featuring high-definition output via HDMI, a classic style joystick and 64 built-in games including classics like Uridium, Paradroid, Hawkeye, Nebulus and Monty Mole.

- Accurate C64 operation
- Pixel filter options (sharp, CRT, scanline emulation) and Pixel perfect graphics
- Save game function
- 2 USB ports: plug in a USB keyboard and use as a fully functional home computer, or add a second joystick for 2-player games

- First in the range to be released will be THEC64® Mini
- As befits a home computer you can also plug in a standard USB PC keyboard and use as a classic C64 to type in those old BASIC computer listings or program new games.
- THEC64® Mini will hit the shops in early 2018 with a suggested retail price of £69.99/$69.99/€79.99.
- Developed by Retro Games Ltd. – and distributed by Koch Media
- PLUS – Full sized, fully working version also coming in 2018 as well!

"You can upgrade your console's firmware via a USB flash drive. "

"The console’s creators, Retro Games Ltd., appear to be the same people behind a clone of the Commodore 64 that hit the crowdfunding site Indiegogo a few years ago. That hardware venture, THE64, hasn’t shipped to backers yet, despite a promised delivery of December 2016. And the updates to that project seem to indicate that it won’t ship until the after the C64 Mini does, assuming it successfully manages to make its way into the hands of consumers eventually."
