Does anyone have a good setup for there Sony KV-32FS100? No matter what service item i mess with, or video settings in the menu I just cant get this dull look to go away. I ran the self check and nothing was ever wrong with it.
Can someone at least point me in the right direction?

Hello X209
I have a set(KV-36FV300) that's in the same 'family' as yours(FD Trinitron line).
Here's the #1 most important things to tweak on these sets, IMO :
You need a combination of low brightness(regular menu) and high sub-brightness("SBRT" in service menu).
That will make the picture way more vibrant.
For brightness you don't want to have it past a third of the way up, maybe even lower. For sub-brightness, you want to have it at least three-quarters of the way up, maybe a bit more.
After that you might want to tweak the sub-contrast("SCON" in service menu) setting, as it makes a HUGE difference on the picture's contrast.
