Console support for controllers which would you like to see?

Hi guys, I sell arcade controllers and have the PC version done and am almost finished with the Playstation version. What would be your order of preference for the remaining consoles?

xbox
xbox360
dreamcast
??

I'm using original encoders for each system so there will be no lag. I'd really appreciate your feedback, and feel free to add any consoles to the list. Thanks.

will you consider a BYO kit (electronic interface + wiring) alone ?
If so, can you give an estimation of the cost of the kit and the adapters ?

Any preference to the order of availability?
(I can't believe I forgot GC. I have one connected to the bedroom TV. Against the girlies wishes of course)

I won't be doing any kits with this style of box in the near future for a couple reasons. This style has all the mounting stuff placed below the laminate. I would have to know what joystick you'd be using. Also, the button holes are also drilled before laminating because it can chip while you drill it. (The laminate we use is the same stuff as on countertops, not the walmart shelving stuff). The cartridge encoder has to jive with the proper measurements of the box itself, so they need to be built alongside each other. Basically, there wouldn't be much left to do.

That said, I do plan on a different style controller that I will be offering in kit form. It won't have the Swappable Catridge Encoder System(TM) though and is being developed on the back burner.[/i]

I don't know if you could do it with off-the-shelf arcade parts, but I'd love to see an arcade style dual-stick analog controller for 360 to use with games like Geometry Wars. The thumbsticks start to get annoying after a while...

Not for a price I'd be comfortable with. For a "one-off" controller it would be ok, because you could source some used parts and wait until the right deal fell into your lap. For a production model, new analog sticks run ~$125-$200 each, depending on if you want buttons on it or not (obviously we would), then add all the other parts/assembly costs.

I'm looking though. I'd love to have that for myself. I *hate* thumbsticks.

Happ analogs have a crazy price. You may be better off looking for Sanwa analog sticks. Or if you can hack them, Happ 49-ways.

Will you be offering your arcade controllers with Japanese Sanwa or Seimitsu joysticks and Sanwa or Seimitsu push buttons as well?

Plus, a Japanese arcade control layout design would be cool as well for that cool-ass Japanese arcade style look.

Your arcade layout on the custom arcade controller looks very professionally done...reminds me of the classic USA arcade upright machines layout design of the early to mid 1980's (when they were in brand new condition, of course). ^_~

My suggestion is to make an arcade controller for the Neo-Geo AES console would be nice indeed.

Yes, I offer Sanwa sticks with a japanese button layout. I don't have pics of a completed controller, but shoot me an email & I can show you a couple overlays.

I'm sure you can tell by the pics on the site I need to throw away my old digicam.

The most useful option would probably be psx since there are adapters to use it on everything....but I'll still say...

GC (it needs it!)
Saturn (here here!)
Dreamcast (duh)
PC (usb all the way yo)

personaly I never thought many xbox owners would by arcade sticks, but maybe I'm wrong.

especially saturn for me since there's NO high end sticks for saturn it seems. Besides the astro-city panel, but who the hell is going to use that behemoth.

Also, with saturn it's quite easy to get adapters so you can use it on dc, an pc.
