Actually this is quite interesting. At least on the OSSC I believe you can select YPbPr as the input signal, even on the SCART input. Since SCART is just a cable/connector format that can carry many types of signals, has anyone tried something like the following Component to SCART adapter from gcompsw to gscartsw? I know this one is probably horrible quality, its just the first one i could find. That solution wouldn't quite get me to my "completely autoswitching" goal as I'd have to switch the OSSC input signal type when using a component device, but it would be a great solution for those that don't mind doing that.
