This has some big potential for portable shmupping...

Digital distribution will favor more compact PS1 games rather than the huge FMV-filled PS1 RPGs.

With an extensive library of quality shmups already in the PS1 library, hopefully this means we could get everything from Dodonpachi to Einhander to R-Type Delta to play anywhere anytime.

I don't think Sony will be in any hurry to distribute the games we're interested in. But here's hoping good things will come of it.

if THIS turns out to the extent I can play Raiden Project, DX and Toaplan Shooting Battle on PSP, I will finally get one after all.
