Hi all,
Just picked up a very cheap PVM. I watched it being tested with a signal and was all good, nice, quality picture. However, I'm just waiting for my SCART/BNC cables so don't have anything to feed it a signal at my house, as just transported it back by car and have plugged it in at home. I've noticed when I just power it up the menus are very shaky. Is this just because I'm not feeding it a signal? Just wasn't sure if the car journey damaged it somehow! Cheers

Re: Shaking on PVM when not synced/with no signal
Glad you asked, I had been wondering myself as I recently acquired a PVM and noticed that the letters in the menu were very jittery. I also don't have any cables to hook up to it yet, so I was a little concerned if was ok or not.
