Aren't both TN and IPS panels a bit obsolete? In any case, whatever costs less; quantity and size of the screens are more important than marginal speed or colour improvement.

What's the best computer or TV screen you've ever used?

A: Depends on what for. For arcade games, Nano Arcade Monitor in a brown box in my old man cave. For alone time on my cumputer, 30" Dell. For phone, Google Pixel
Q: What's the socially acceptable time-limit in bumping a thread that has very little purpose?

Aureal 3D sound card technology. You have not played Thief unless you played with one of these cards. You can close your eyes and pinpoint track the movement of every guard in the next room while listening from behind a closed door. It also goes without saying how insanely useful A3D was when keeping track of approaching suicide bombers in the middle of a giant Serious Sam battle.

It didn't fail in the marketplace, btw. They were sued into oblivion by their competitors at Creative with a frivolous lawsuit. Aureal won the suit but lost the war because their legal fees were so much they were forced to sell out to Creative, who promptly shitcanned A3D in favor of their vastly inferior EAX tech.

Decades later we're still playing with inferior sound.
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

Watch this with headphones on.

Then mourn for what was lost thanks to sleazy business practices.

Q : What's the most important number in mathematical theory ?
A: You can get a lot of mileage out of 1, particularly in combination with his friend 0. Among their most impressive creations, an infinite amount of natural numbers, and indirectly many other sorts of numbers. They also work under pseudonym in cyclic groups and many other algebraic structures.

Q: Comparing porn today and porn when you started to appreciate it, what has changed? Do you think it's an improvement?
