No sync issues at all hooked up to my Sony KV-29X5E. I'm still waiting for a proper RGB-out cable to do some picture quality testing, but so far it looks great. I have no capture card though.

I have no idea what the middle button is supposed to do. The only difference i see when it is pressed is that the picture is moved slightly to the right, but it's only a millimeter or so.
Any information on what type of cable you used for the Genesis? Ik have a M1 with a 32x in it. I wire my own cables and made a Csync cable for it. Directly into the framemeister the cable works fine, but with the hydra in between I get no image. It might be an option to go with a composite sync cable since I have a sync stripper just before the framemeister. So far it is the only console the hydra did not like. I have the 16 input version.

I went to the order page for Hydra and it's confusing to say the least. I have no idea what he means by "pieces" and why more "pieces" somehow reduces the price? No explanation on the page... see here:

Ok I'll answer my own question.

He meant "units." I suppose they translate similarly in a dictionary and for a non-native speaker that would be confusing.

Greetings. Me again (getting lonely here). I just got my Hydra in the mail and silly me... no power supply to go with it. Ahhh well. Looks like I need to order one. He says a 5V 1amp will do. I actually already have a 5V 2.5 amp like this one for the Rasperry Pi. Would that be fine? Or will I fry it. Dunno if amps matter as I'm no electricity expert.

Is this one OK?

As long as the connection and voltage is right and the amperage is greater than required you should be sweet

Need to do some more testing tonight, but i think this is the case. Switched out the wall charger and the Hydra worked fine again, except for that one scart socket.

Edit: Yep, one socket is fried.
Why would the Wii RGB cable fry the hydra?
