Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I would think it does since it's able to take 1 input and output it to X different screens without any quality loss whatsoever?
Does this also imply that, in theory, I would be able to take 10 Extron Crosspoints and daisy-chain them using 9 5BNC-5BNC cables of 50' (15.2 m) each, and still see no video quality loss?
Can somebody please confirm this?
Thanks!
Does an Extron Crosspoint matrix switchr amplify the signal?

It's analog video: even if you're using coax, you're going to see a loss in quality going through that many distribution amps and 500 feet of cable. Your signal to noise ratio is going to get a bit worse on every hop.

If you hooked 6 crosspoints together like that youd want to put them in a rack and join them with short cables - around a foot or two. youd probably want good coaxial cables too not the cheap ones.
theres basically no need for that though. Kramer makes a video switch that has 32 inputs.

Extron Crosspoints max out at 128 inputs and 128 outputs (unless there are bigger ones I'm not finding), although you're talking full rack size at that point.
