Taito did an amazing job on the mobile port of Darius Burst, so I'm really looking forward to this one.
Seems it also comes with lots of options and new arranged BGM by Zuntata.
I'll post a quick hands-on when I find the time to play it
It's pretty good, but touchscreen controls + big hitbox + small screen = die
The new arranged ST1 theme reminds me of a mahou shoujo RayForce spinoff
I can't tap on-screen buttons to the same extent I can mash buttons on my keyboard, and I seem to keep missing the buttons all the time as well. The auto control setup lets you play with just one hand and woukd have been a godsend, if not for the fact that it automatically fires your lasers if you haven't locked on to another target within half a second of locking onto another, making long chains simply impossble and making it impossible to use for scoring. They could have tied firing your lasers to releasing your finger from the screen for a brief moment instead, but they didn't.

Liar. I've known you only from latexmachomen.com and pantysniffers.org forums.
RayCrisis port was briefly teased during ZUNTATA NIGHT11 early this month. From what it looked it's likely to be a port of Taito G-Card version (with WR-03 available from the start) instead of the usual PSX one.
Raystorm I own in its normal version that I play on PS2 and I also own the HD version for Xbox 360, but I would love to see this trilogy released for PS4 and Steam.
After trying all three Android ports of Ray Force, Ray Storm & Ray Crisis, they all do support Bluetooth controllers. It seems just a tad bit of lag with the Android port Ray Force with using a BT controller (but much better than using the touch screen interface setup). The BT controls for use with the Android ports of Ray Storm & Ray Crisis are spot on & tight. I've noticed that if you have too many apps that are running in the background while playing the Android port of Ray Storm, it'll sometimes crash (so it's best to close all background apps in order for it to run smoothly and without any hiccups).
I realize that the original Taito G-Net version of Ray Crisis never got an official English translation until Working Designs got the exclusive rights to publish it on the PSX back in 2000 stateside. Still cool nevertheless to see English text for the Android port of RC any ol' day. Of course, the WR-03 fightercraft is already selectable from get-go with the Android port whereas on the Taito G-Net version, it's locked until certain criteria is met.
It would've been nice if Taito were to include some scanline filters just to give the Ray series that ol' school look/vibe on the Android & iOS platforms.
It makes me wonder if Taito is using the actual mame roms of all three Ray shmups to run or are they some other kind of rom emulation going on in the background?

Considering PSX port's Extra Mode was present in RayStorm port I doubt they used mame roms.
At this rate, I won’t be interested into shmups anymore. I am no longer going to be active in this forum from now on. I am more interested into Kemono Friends, rhythm games, D4DJ, Puzzle Games, Hololive, and Pretty Cure.
