1. Ridge Racer PSP (what Ridge Racer 5 should have been)
2. Wipeout Pure (It is just so much better than Fusion, I like to pretend that Fusion never happened)
3. Lumines (though after gradually getting better at it, I reached a point where I stopped making any progress, so also lost all interest in it).
That is pretty much all I have played so far that I truly liked. Will probably not get to play much more either, because I don't have any sparetime for it :O

This thread needs more GripShift. It's not the simple dune buggy arcade racer it's advertised as. It's more akin to Monkey Ball on wheels.
Star Soldier's also good. Technically it's even better than the PS2/GC versions with a proper autofire system, two more selectable ships, sexy 16:9 TATE and it even saves replays of your caravan mode runs.
Heh, those are the only games I've spent any considerable amount of time with. I'll probably get DJMax eventually, though.

No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"
"They should at least make 100K to have a good life"

DJMAX Portable is tops.
Because of this, I've barely spent any time with Gradius Portable.
So I guess mine goes..
1. DJMAX Portable
2. Star Soldier
3. Lumines
4. Gradius Portable
5. Sengoku Cannon
I don't have SFZ3 or Irregular Hunter X, IHX would probably knock Sengoku Cannon off that list.
BTW, has anybody tried Exit? That looks to be a neat one..

This list will no doubt change a bit within the month as MM Powered Up, Daxter and Katarmari are released. Anyways:
1.Wipeout Pure: I still play this just as much as when I first bought it at launch. Beautiful futuristic visuals, tight control, ace music. The sense of speed and scope is eye popping for a handheld racer. Lighting effects are amazing, this game is bright. There is also a ton of free downloadable content, so much so that it is almost like getting another Wipeout game for free. My only gripe is that so far the Omega upgrade pack is UK only.
2.Lumines: Another title I still play almost as much as last year. One of the best puzzlers ever made, great music, made by Tetsuya Mizaguchi, 'nuff said.
3.Tokobot: This one took some guff from a few for being "frustrating." Wah.
I say it controls fine if you do the combos like you're supposed to. And old school properly timed jumps rock, so take it like a man. Think Mario 64 with a small touch of Pikmin in a fun steampunk setting. Fun robot transformations (though they are not always implemented quite as well as they could be), cool boss battles and decent puzzles round it out. Great stuff. Daxter will surely unseat it as best PSP 3D platformer though.
4.Gradius Portable: 5 Gradius games on one disc. What more is there else to say? If you are a shmup fan you need this UMD. Most complete shooter compilation to date (except for Gradius V of course). A title that also makes you thankful the system is region free. Win.
5.Burnout Legends: The same insane over the top A-Team crash action you play at home on your XBox or PS2 on a small widescreen. Excellent port with plenty of exclusive elements, great wireless modes (play it with a co-worker in the office) and another title that really shows off the system's power.
edit: MM Maverick Hunter X is another must have and almost made my fave list. But MM Powered Up is gonna have so much content I decided to leave it off my top 5 for now.

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.
